The objective of the post-graduate program in Botânica at INPA (PPG-BOT) is the training of qualified human resources in the area of botany, for their future activities in teaching and research, as well as contruibuting to the public and private needs for conservation, maintenance and knowledge of the diversity of the Amazon flora.
In the masters degree, students develop and undertake a dissertation, based in current scientific concepts and methodologies in the area of Botany, qualifying them for reaserch and teaching in the area.
